Nintendo Switch 2, we have known for a while to be released in 2025. Today Nintendo released their first official view at the Nintendo Switch 2 in a trailer showing off their new system.
Nintendo Switch 2 plays Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive games, as it is backwards compatable with all your original Switch 1 games for both physical and digital.
However, they did annoucnce that certain Switch games may not be supported on or fully compatible with Nintendo Switch 2.
They mentioned that these details will be shared on their website at a later date.
Nintendo will share additional details about the Switch 2 on their Nintendo Direct on Wednesday, April 2.
