Marvel Rivals is the new 3rd person shooter by Netease which features a variety of Marvel characters. This game is an objective based hero shooter, in which each character has their own unique abilities. The game has 3 classes, duelists (dps), strategists (support/healers), and vanguards (tanks).
PROS
- Excellent variety of characters, and unique abilities feel different and fresh
- Most characters are useable in competitive matches
- Art style fits the style of the game, and looks great
CONS
- Some characters lack balance, and rely only on specific abilities (i.e. Starlord is fully reliant on his ultimate to be anywhere close to reliable)
- Aiming can be a bit off. The aiming sometimes feels like you should be hitting an enemy, but it misses due the aiming not exactly lining up with the crosshair reticle (I would suggest testing each character in practive mode to see this so you can adjust you aiming)
- Network latency appears to make a significant impact in this game, even in lower latency situations (50MS vs 30MS)
